Job Description: 

Our client is seeking a ServiceNow Development Lead to join their team. The ServiceNow Development Lead will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting ServiceNow solutions across the enterprise. This role focuses on delivering scalable and sustainable ServiceNow capabilities through custom application development, portal solutions, workflows, integrations, and platform enhancements while adhering to ServiceNow best practices and governance standards.

The Development Lead will partner closely with business stakeholders, architects, administrators, and project teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. This individual will contribute to platform optimization efforts, assess existing ServiceNow environments, and support the successful delivery of ServiceNow initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions and platform enhancements.
  • Build and enhance complex Service Portal solutions, custom applications, workflows, and automations.
  • Design and implement Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, UI Policies, Data Policies, and Flow Designer solutions.
  • Support ITSM implementations and ongoing platform improvements.
  • Assess and optimize existing ServiceNow environments, configurations, plugins, and platform architecture.
  • Develop and maintain Update Set strategies, migration activities, and release processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions.
  • Support CMDB, Asset Management, and broader ServiceNow platform initiatives.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and implementation artifacts.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and support continuous improvement efforts.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
  • Experience supporting ServiceNow implementations and enhancement projects.

Salary/ Rate: $70-$80/hr (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
