Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Guidewire Developer with 5-7 years of hands-on experience in designing, customizing, and implementing Guidewire solutions. The ideal candidate will specialize in PolicyCenter and BillingCenter, with a strong focus on configuration, integration, and system optimization. Guidewire certifications in PolicyCenter and BillingCenter are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter components, including workflows, rules, and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with Guidewire best practices.
- Configure screen layouts, data models, wizards, and rating engines to enhance system functionality.
- Develop integration hooks between PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and external systems using APIs, web services, and batch processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing timely support for Guidewire applications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in Guidewire development, with expertise in PolicyCenter and BillingCenter.
- Proficiency in Java, GOSU, XML, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud (10.0 or higher) and integration tools like App Events/Integration Gateway.
- Strong understanding of P&C insurance workflows, billing plans, invoicing, and delinquency management.
- Familiarity with AWS deployment and cloud-based integration patterns.
Preferred Skills
- Guidewire certifications in PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenter.
Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks and JUnit/GUnit testing.
Knowledge of JSON processing and modern IDE tools.
