Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic, passionate Program Manager to join our client's growing PMO team. This role will lead strategic and tactical programs and projects primarily supporting our Fleet and Safety functions. The ideal candidate will combine strong program management discipline with the mindset of a change leader—able to thrive amid ambiguity, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and sustain trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.
While this role is a generalist Program Manager position, preference will be given to candidates with experience in logistics, supply chain, or fleet operations. Your work will directly impact initiatives that drive safety, efficiency, and operational excellence across our client organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership & Planning
- Serve as a thought partner to Fleet and Safety leaders, contributing to roadmap planning, prioritization, and impact assessments across initiatives.
- Thought Leadership & Proactive Risk Management
- Provide proactive thought leadership on programs and projects, offering insights and opinions on potential risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Actively engage stakeholders and project teams in conversations about project direction, risks, and solutions—beyond coordinating tasks—to drive better outcomes.
- Program Leadership & Governance
- Lead and manage programs from ideation through implementation, ensuring alignment with client’s strategic goals, timelines, budgets.
- Oversee program governance, risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
- Change Management
- Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes, technologies, or operational changes.
- Assess stakeholder impacts and work closely with PMO colleagues to craft effective communication, training, and engagement plans.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, functional leaders, field operations, and external partners.
- Navigate and mediate competing priorities while maintaining transparency and alignment.
- Project Execution & Coordination
- Drive cross-functional collaboration, ensuring clarity of objectives, roles, and accountabilities.
- Maintain detailed plans, RAID logs, and progress updates, proactively identifying risks and proposing mitigation actions.
- Continuous Improvement
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, conducting lessons learned and integrating best practices into future projects.
- Data-Driven Management
- Create and maintain reporting that clearly communicate program health, progress, and value delivered to stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required; graduate degree a plus.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Minimum 7+ years of program or project management experience, including 3+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Experience working in or managing projects within logistics, supply chain, or fleet operations strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of change management methodologies (Prosci certification a plus).
- Proven ability to lead in highly ambiguous environments and drive clarity where few precedents exist.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain strong stakeholder relationships, with empathy and emotional intelligence.
- Skilled in the use of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Confluence, Jira) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior executives.
- Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.

Salary: $140,000 per year
