We are seeking a skilled VBA Developer to join our team to support and enhance our internal tools and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VBA development, with the ability to design, develop, and maintain macros, automation scripts, and user-defined functions. Experience with Power BI or Power Apps is highly desirable and will be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain VBA-based tools and applications.
- Automate manual tasks and improve data workflows using VBA and Excel functions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing VBA code for better performance and maintainability.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Build business applications using Power Apps to support process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Proven 5+ years of experience in VBA programming.
- Solid understanding of Excel formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Power BI: data modeling, DAX, report/dashboard development.
- Experience with Power Apps: building low-code business applications.
- Knowledge of SQL or other data integration tools is a plus.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in VBA development.
Rate: $65/hour (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
