Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize the University's enterprise network infrastructure. The Network Engineer will play a key role in ensuring reliable and secure connectivity across academic, administrative, residential, and campus environments.
This position will support wired and wireless networks, switches, routers, firewalls, VPN infrastructure, network monitoring, and network security. The successful candidate will work closely with systems administration, cybersecurity, applications, telecommunications, and service desk teams to maintain a highly available technology environment for students, faculty, staff, and University operations.

Success will be measured by the reliability, performance, security, and scalability of the University's network infrastructure. The Network Engineer will be expected to proactively identify network risks, minimize service interruptions, resolve complex technical issues, and contribute to modernization initiatives that improve the technology experience across University's campus.
Salary/Rate: $45-$50/HR (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week. Upon conversion the salary: $110,000 - $125,000 (depends on experience level) + benefits.
