Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with 7+ years of large-scale project/program management experience.

• Must have experience managing both technology systems and business projects or programs.
• Insurance or financial services industry experience is preferred, but not required.
• Responsible for managing all aspects of multiple projects throughout project lifecycle.
• Monitor, track and report project performance to management and key stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business customers and stakeholders, understanding their business needs, expectations and objectives.
• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide project management leadership and facilitation to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and meet stakeholder expectations.
• Facilitate collaboration and transfer business knowledge across project teams.
• Strong understanding and application of Project Management Institute (PMI) standards.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, critical-thinking and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple projects from conceptual phase through implementation and testing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required; Microsoft Project experience preferred.

Candidate Profile:

• 7+ years of project management experience
• Enterprise technology + business project experience
• Insurance/P&C experience strongly preferred
• PMP preferred
• Strong stakeholder/customer-facing communication skills

Salary/Rate: $60-$65/HR (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
