Technology Adoption Coordinator

Location: Chicago, IL (Remote) | Contract

Overview

Our client is seeking a Technology Adoption Coordinator to help corporate teams and property-level stakeholders understand, prepare for, and adopt new AI and technology tools. Working with a team of analysts, a director, and a vice president, you will turn project vision into clear communications and coordinate onboarding and training across regions. The responsibilities below describe the role's current focus, and duties may evolve as projects progress.

Responsibilities

Communicate with and prepare stakeholders

  • Draft and coordinate communications that explain project goals, changes, progress, timelines, and next steps.
  • Help corporate teams and property-level stakeholders understand how a project or tool affects them and how they can participate.
  • Tailor messages and materials for different audiences, levels, and regions.
  • Help respond to stakeholder questions by finding answers, connecting people with the right resources, and following up.
  • Keep project content and communications current as plans and priorities change.

Support field location onboarding and adoption

  • Coordinate onboarding of field locations to new tools, including confirming participating locations and key contacts.
  • Prepare onboarding communications that explain expectations, timelines, available resources, and next steps.
  • Organize training and Q&A sessions across regions and time zones. This may include occasional early or late calls to support Asia Pacific.
  • Deliver or support live training and provide additional guidance to locations that need it.
  • Track location questions, participation, and onboarding progress, and connect locations with appropriate support.
  • Gather feedback and lessons learned to improve future onboarding and adoption.

Turn project vision into clear materials

  • Work with the team to understand the purpose, direction, and intended audience for AI and technology projects.
  • Turn project concepts and updates into polished, easy-to-understand materials for corporate and property-level stakeholders.
  • Prepare and edit presentations, emails, newsletters, FAQs, videos, and other communications in the format that best fits the message.
  • Make complex or evolving information clear, relevant, and actionable for different audiences.
  • Update website templates and stakeholder-facing content so it reflects the current state of projects. This means editing and maintaining content, not building websites.
  • Gather input and confirm details with the team to keep materials accurate and aligned.

Support the team's evolving work

  • Coordinate requests from the analysts, director, and vice president, and help move materials and communications forward.
  • Stay organized across multiple projects and requests while adapting as needs change.
  • Research AI tools, technology, and new approaches, and bring useful findings to the team.
  • Look for clearer, more efficient ways to create materials, communicate, and support adoption.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in communications, content development, training, stakeholder engagement, or onboarding
  • Clear, thoughtful writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex or changing information easy to understand
  • Strong organization and follow-through across multiple requests and projects
  • Comfort communicating with different audiences
  • Ability to listen, take feedback, and follow through on agreed priorities
  • Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, and independently researching potential solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in AI and technology, and in helping people understand and adopt new tools
  • Initiative and curiosity: you look for ways to move work forward, share ideas, and learn new tools and topics

Pay rate: $35/hr. This is a 6-month contract position, remote, based in Chicago, IL. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US (Green Card, H1B, H4 EAD, L2 EAD, OPT, TN Visa, US Citizen, or E3).

About Us

Peterson Technology Partners (PTP) is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating a transparent, inclusive, and human-centered hiring experience.

For more than 28 years, PTP has operated as one of the top IT staffing and recruiting firms in the USA—built on trust, long-term partnerships, and technical excellence.

Based in the Chicago suburb of Park Ridge, IL, our team of more than 500 employees and consultants is dedicated to:

  • Helping every client make the best hiring decisions possible
  • Matching professionals with the right IT jobs and career opportunities

As part of that commitment, we believe in providing clear information about how our hiring technologies work and how your data is used. The following section outlines our AI-assisted interview process and your rights as a candidate.

AI-Assisted Interview Experience (Pete & Gabi – Rebecca):

To provide a consistent, fair, and flexible experience for all candidates, we use AI-assisted tools to support parts of the interview process. This includes our proprietary AI platform Pete & Gabi, which includes AI recruiter Rebecca.

These AI hiring tools help us:

  • Conduct recorded video interviews
  • Transcribe interviews
  • Summarize candidate responses
  • Generate job-related insights
  • Streamline communication and scheduling

Please note that:

  • The AI does NOT make hiring decisions; all decisions are made by our human recruiters, hiring managers, or client partners.
  • The AI does not evaluate facial expressions, emotions, or physical traits; it is used only to support fairness, consistency, and efficiency.

If you prefer a non-AI interview format, we will gladly provide an alternative.

Technical or Case Interviews (Role-Dependent): −

When applying for certain tech jobs, you may participate in:

  • A technical interview
  • A coding challenge
  • A case study
  • A client-specific assessment

We will always explain what to expect in advance so you can prepare with confidence.

Human Review & Selection: +

Every candidate’s profile—including interviews, conversations, and assessments—is reviewed by experienced recruiters and hiring leaders.

AI insights may assist with organization and evaluation, but final decisions are always human-driven.

Your Rights as a Candidate: +

At PTP, every candidate has the right to:

  • Request a non-AI interview path
  • Ask how your data is being used
  • Request access to transcripts or interview recordings
  • Request deletion of your AI-recorded interview
  • Receive clear, timely communication

Our goal is to ensure you feel respected, informed, and supported throughout your experience.

Our Commitment: +

We’re committed to a hiring process that is:

  • Transparent
  • Compliant
  • Equitable

We’re excited to learn more about you.
