Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP FS-CD Billing Consultant to support a large-scale greenfield SAP Financial Services Collections and Disbursements (FS-CD) implementation within a modern insurance billing platform. This is an initial six-month contract opportunity with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance.

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of functional and technical expertise in SAP FS-CD and will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and integration teams to design and deliver scalable billing and accounts receivable capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and implement SAP FS-CD solutions to support enterprise billing, collections, and accounts receivable processes.
  • Lead solution design and configuration for key FS-CD capabilities including:
    • Contract Accounts
    • Business Partners
    • Insurance Objects
    • Payment Processing
    • Clearing and Allocation Rules
    • Dunning and Collections
    • Account Determination
    • Refunds and Write-Offs
    • Billing and Invoicing Processes
  • Support integration design between SAP FS-CD and upstream/downstream applications using APIs and event-driven architectures.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, solution workshops, fit-gap analysis, design reviews, and testing activities.
  • Develop functional specifications and support technical teams with development, integration, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage standard SAP capabilities while minimizing custom development.
  • Provide guidance on SAP FS-CD best practices, billing operations, collections processing, and financial controls.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on SAP FS-CD experience with a strong techno-functional background.
  • Proven experience implementing or supporting SAP FS-CD in Insurance, Financial Services, Utilities, Telecommunications, or other high-volume billing environments.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Accounts Receivable (A/R)
    • Billing and Invoicing
    • Payment Processing
    • Collections and Dunning
    • Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA)
    • Financial Posting and Clearing Processes
  • Experience configuring SAP FS-CD master data and transaction processing components.
  • Working knowledge of SAP integration patterns specifically with API-based architecture.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders.

Salary/Rate: $95-$100/HR (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
