Job Description:

Location: Remote (US Central Time Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM CT)

We are seeking a creative and skilled Digital Content Designer with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience, specializing in video editing and animation. The ideal candidate will be adept at transforming concepts into dynamic visual content for various digital platforms, with a strong emphasis on video production for social media. While video will be the primary focus, a solid foundation in graphic design is also essential to ensure brand consistency and produce supporting visual assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Production & Editing (Primary Role):

  • Edit and produce high-quality video content for various digital channels, including long-form YouTube videos, short-form social media clips (e.g., Reels, Shorts), promotional videos, and educational content.
  • Implement creative visual storytelling techniques, including motion graphics, transitions, sound design, and text overlays, to enhance video engagement.
  • Manage the entire video production workflow from raw footage/assets to final delivery, including media organization, post-production, color correction, and sound mixing.

Animated Video Creation:

  • Design and produce engaging animated videos (2D motion graphics, explainer videos, animated infographics) from concept to completion.
  • Utilize motion design principles to bring static elements to life and convey complex information clearly and captivatingly.

Audio Production & Enhancement:

  • Edit, mix, and master audio tracks for videos, including voiceovers, music, and sound effects, ensuring professional sound quality.
  • Utilize tools like Eleven Labs for AI voice generation and integrate generated audio seamlessly into video projects.

Graphic Design:

  • Create compelling static graphic assets for social media (e.g., LinkedIn banners, Instagram carousels, YouTube thumbnails, ad creatives) that complement video content and align with brand guidelines.
  • Develop visual elements (e.g., lower thirds, titles, branding elements) for integration into video projects.

Social Media Content Strategy & Optimization:

  • Design and optimize video and graphic content specifically for platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram, understanding their unique requirements and audience behaviors.
  • Stay informed about the latest social media trends, video formats, and best practices to maximize content performance.

Live Stream/Webinar Support (as needed):

  • Utilize OBS Studio for basic live streaming setup, recording, and broadcast of webinars, interviews, or other live digital events, ensuring quality output.

Brand Consistency & Asset Management:

  • Ensure all digital content, both video and graphic, consistently adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a cohesive visual identity.
  • Organize and maintain a well-structured library of video footage, audio files, design assets, and templates.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, content strategists, subject matter experts, and other teams to understand project objectives and translate them into effective visual content.
  • Actively participate in content brainstorming sessions and provide creative input.
  • Present design and video concepts and rationale clearly to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in video editing, motion graphics, and digital content creation, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.

  • AI Video & Audio Tools: Experience or familiarity with AI video & voice generation platforms like HeyGen, VEO 3, Eleven Labs for integrating synthetic video & speech.
  • Video Production Fundamentals: Strong understanding of video composition, storytelling, pacing, color grading, sound design, and encoding for various platforms.
  • Motion Graphics Principles: Proficiency in creating dynamic and engaging motion graphics, text animations, and transitions.
  • Graphic Design Fundamentals: Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout for static assets.
  • Creativity & Innovation: Ability to generate fresh, innovative video and graphic concepts that capture attention and communicate effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and high quality in all content outputs.
  • Time Management & Organization: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design and video choices and collaborate effectively with non-creatives.
  • Portfolio: A strong online portfolio or reel demonstrating expertise in video editing, motion graphics, and graphic design is required for consideration.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points):

  • Knowledge of social media analytics and how they inform content creation.
  • Minimal experience in scriptwriting or storyboarding for video.
  • Understanding in marketing or digital media.

Salary/Rate: 7-9 Lakhs Per Annum (LPA) (depends on experience level).
