Job Description:

Our client is seeking a highly organized Service Coordinator to review, analyze, process, and document parts requests with speed and accuracy. In this high-volume role, you will manage purchase orders, research complex parts (including obsolete and foreign materials), resolve order discrepancies, and provide exceptional support to internal and external customers while leading special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Process Purchase Orders: Receive and process customer POs accurately and according to company standards.
  • Parts Research: Research all parts inquiries, including replacement, foreign, obsolete, and inactive parts, as well as external vendor material.
  • Returns & Credits: Process returned goods paperwork and issue credits/debits as needed.
  • Quoting & Delivery: Supply accurate and timely quotes to customers, ensuring the precise part is delivered per request and company standards.
  • Order Resolution: Identify and resolve order discrepancies promptly.
  • Customer Inquiry Management: Resolve customer questions via phone or email while handling a high volume of calls and performing other tasks simultaneously.
  • Technical Drawings: Read, interpret, and comprehend technical drawings and specifications.
  • Project Leadership: Lead special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of all parts requests and transactions.

Experience:

  • Two or more years of customer service experience in a heavy call volume environment is required
  • Elevator part knowledge and five or more years elevator technical experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel and heavy Outlook is required
  • The ability to read, interpret and comprehend technical drawings and specifications is required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented to perform and manage tasks as assigned.

Salary/Rate: $20-$25/HR (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
