Job Description:

Our client is seeking a AI Project Manager leads the delivery of Responsible AI initiatives supporting healthcare AI systems and data‑driven products. This role ensures AI is developed and used safely, ethically, and in compliance with healthcare regulations, while enabling innovation that improves patient outcomes and operational effectiveness. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Responsible AI activities across healthcare AI use cases, including governance, risk assessments, and compliance workflows 
  • Coordinate Responsible AI reviews to capture input from AI Engineering on bias, fairness, explainability, privacy, safety, and human oversight 
  • Integrate Responsible AI requirements into improving intake process  
  • Maintain audit‑ready documentation, risk registers, approvals, and traceability artifacts 
  • Partner with Legal, Privacy, Data & AI, and Procurement and Compliance teams to support healthcare regulatory expectations (e.g., patient safety, data protection, clinical risk) 
  • Communicate status, risks, and outcomes to leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders 
  • Support consistent, scalable Responsible AI processes across teams 

Focused Responsibilities:

  • Daily management and routing request in the RAI queue (DAISI, Jira, etc.) 
  • Support RAI Sr. Manager with coordination activities across pillar stakeholders as needed (Cybersecurity, Privacy, Legal, Procurement, Data & AI) to process intake queue for RAI requests 
  • Create/update and distribute weekly reporting on request status’ (prioritization and risks) 
  • Draft updates to RAI Policy for stakeholder approval 
  • Recommend process improvements for intake 
  • Support activities to expand AI knowledge base in tool (Vanta, etc.) 
  • Support coordination activities for Data & AI Governance steerco as needed 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, technology, and healthcare related fields 
  • 5+ years of project management experience in technology, data, or healthcare environments 
  • Experience working with cross‑functional technical and non‑technical teams 
  • Strong understanding of AI governance and compliance concepts 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting AI, machine learning, or analytics initiatives in healthcare 
  • Familiarity with Responsible AI concepts (bias, fairness, transparency, explainability, privacy, human oversight) 
  • Experience in regulated healthcare or life sciences environments 
  • Knowledge of Responsible AI or AI risk frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, ISO standards) 
  • PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification 
  • Experience with Jira, MS Project, MS SharePoint, MS Word, MS Excel, BI Tools,  
  • Agile and Waterfall methodologies  

Salary/Rate: $50-$65/HR (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
