Digital Marketing Specialist (SEO & AI Search) 2–5 Years

Peterson Technology Partners is looking for a forward-thinking Digital Marketing Specialist to lead our organic growth in the era of AI-driven search. This isn't a traditional SEO role; we are looking for a specialist who understands how to rank on Google today and how to be the "chosen answer" in AI engines like Gemini, ChatGPT, and Perplexity tomorrow. You will bridge the gap between technical SEO, high-authority content, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Search & Generative Strategy (SEO, AEO, & GEO)

  • AEO & GEO Leadership: Optimize PTP’s digital content for Answer Engines and Generative AI platforms by structuring data for FAQs, snippets, and conversational queries.
  • Keyword Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive research to identify TOFU, MOFU, and BOFU opportunities, focusing on high-intent technical and staffing-related clusters.
  • Competitor Benchmarking: Analyze competitor backlink profiles and content gaps to pivot our strategy for maximum market share.

2. Content & Authority Building

  • Pillar Content: Recommend and help build pillar pages and topic clusters that establish PTP as a thought leader in AI, Data Science, and IT Staffing.
  • Strategic Outreach: Manage a guest blogging roadmap, pitching topics to high-authority publishers and ensuring a clean, strategic anchor text profile.
  • Platform Expansion: Promote and adapt content for high-engagement platforms including LinkedIn Articles, Medium, Reddit, and Quora.

3. Technical & On-Page Excellence

  • On-Page Optimization: Ownership of title tags, meta descriptions, image SEO, internal linking, and canonical structures.
  • Technical Audits: Regularly identify and fix crawl errors, indexing issues, and site speed barriers (Core Web Vitals).
  • Conversion Focus (CRO): Analyze user behavior on landing pages to suggest layout and CTA improvements that turn organic traffic into qualified leads.

4. Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor performance via GA4, Google Search Console, and SEMrush/Ahrefs.
  • Build weekly and monthly reports focusing on organic traffic, keyword movement, and AI search visibility trends.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2–5 years in a dedicated SEO or Digital Marketing role.
  • Tools: Proficiency in SEMrush or Ahrefs, Google Analytics 4, and Search Console.
  • Technical Savvy: Understanding of schema markup, robots.txt, and how AI crawlers parse information.
  • Mindset: A "growth hacker" mentality—always looking for new experiments and ways to improve CTR and conversions.
  • Communication: Strong English communication skills for professional outreach and collaboration with US-based teams.
