Job Description:

Location: Park Ridge, IL (Hybrid – 3 Days In Office / 2 Days Remote)

As an Associate Account Executive at PTP, you’ll work closely with Fortune 500 companies to deliver top-tier IT and engineering talent solutions. Partnering with internal recruitment teams, you’ll help align skilled candidates with evolving client needs. This role offers strong career growth with dedicated mentorship, comprehensive training, and hands-on experience in account management. 

  • For over 28 years, Peterson Technology Partners (PTP) has helped organizations solve complex business challenges through IT Staffing, Consulting, Digital Transformation, AI Solutions, and Technology Services.
  • We're looking for ambitious, driven, and career-focused recent graduates who want to build a successful career in business development and technology sales.
  • This is not a typical entry-level role. You'll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and coaching from experienced sales leaders while learning how to build relationships with business executives, generate new opportunities, and drive revenue growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities
  • Utilize industry-leading tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and other sales technologies
  • Schedule and participate in client meetings
  • Conduct networking, lunch, and breakfast meetings with business professionals
  • Learn the complete sales cycle from prospecting through closing business
  • Partner with Account Managers, Senior Account Managers, and Client Partners
  • Develop relationships with hiring managers and business leaders
  • Build the foundation to eventually manage your own territory and client portfolio

What We're Looking For:

  • Recent graduate or early-career professional (0-3 years of experience)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but all majors are welcome
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to learn
  • Competitive mindset with a desire to succeed
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week in a hybrid environment
