Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Senior Functional Tester with experience in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). The ideal candidate will have strong functional testing expertise, experience validating integrations and data flows, and the ability to create comprehensive test scenarios and test scripts.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute functional test cases and test scripts
  • Validate TMS/WMS business processes and workflows
  • Perform EDI, API, and Kafka integration testing
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
  • Work closely with business users, developers, and product teams to ensure solution quality
  • Support UAT, regression, and end-to-end testing activities

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of Functional Testing experience
  • Strong knowledge of TMS and/or WMS applications
  • Experience writing detailed Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and Test Scripts
  • Hands-on experience with EDI Validation (X12, EDIFACT, etc.)
  • Experience with API Validation and Testing (REST/SOAP)
  • Experience validating Kafka messages, topics, and event-driven integrations
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business process testing
  • Knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Playwright
  • Experience with logistics, transportation, supply chain, or warehouse operations
  • Exposure to automation testing frameworks

Salary/Rate: $10-$12/HR (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
